EDSL SYSTEM OUTAGE ALERT
For information, the eDSL system is experiencing access interruptions to the MMDIS Service Web (JLM Ship Registration System) which causes the ship registration information during the DSL application to be displayed as "Record not found". Corrective action is underway. All inconveniences are regrettable.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR DSL APPLICATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHINESE NEW YEAR
In conjunction with Chinese New Year holiday which falls on 23rd and 24th January 2023, all Domestic Shipping Licence (DSL) applications via eDSL System will be temporarily closed from 23rd to 27th January 2023. To ensure that all DSL applications are processed before the closing date, the deadline for receiving DSL applications is at 12pm, 17th January 2023 (Tuesday).
Applicants are advised to submit the applications before the aforementioned deadline to ensure shipping operations would not be delayed, particularly for vessels in which the laycan date falls in the fourth week of January 2023.
Applications received after 12pm, 17th January 2023 will be processed starting on 30th January 2023 (Monday).

Attention to new applicants:
1. For Malaysian ship owners: compulsory to update email address at the Registry Office, Malaysian Marine Department (Jabatan Laut Malaysia).
2. For Foreign Vessel’s agents: compulsory to register or update Certificate of Company Registration Number (SSM) and email address ONLINE through the Ship Clearance System (SCS) website http://marine22.marine.gov.my/scsagent
• User ID and temporary password will be generated by the eDSL system.
• JLM does not provide User ID/temporary password
The new eDSL system is an initiative of the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT) to develop a comprehensive online end-to-end system for Domestic Shipping License (DSL) applications.
The New eDSL system has launched on November 1 ,2019. The new system allows applicants to complete their application, payment and print licenses and receipts online.
Innovation and introduction of the new system will be the turning point of the abolition of the existing eDSL system.
The applicant must register an account with eDSL system using the link "Click here to register" at home page.
Before registering an account at eDSL, please update your email address with the Jabatan Laut Malaysia.
When you are done signing up for eDSL, your temporary password will be provided via your registered email.
Before applying for a license in eDSL, you must first complete the registration. Follow these simple steps to get started.
